Development of RICH-TEC®NEO, neo moisture-permeable, water-resistant
fabric |

In October 2004 N.I. Teijin Shoji Co., Ltd., announced the development
of RICH-TEC®NEO, a fabric with a super sensibility on appearance,
that has excellent water-repellency and heat insulation. This fabric
is the third generation of the RICH-TEC® series, high-density,
moisture permeable, water-resistant fabric. Full-scale marketing
of the fabric for sports and casual wear will begin from the fall
and winter of 2005.
In new development of RICH-TEC®NEO, we preserved the typical
functions of RICH-TEC® fabrics and also realized the world's
first high density moisture-permeable, water-resistant fabric with
durable thermal insulation by specially designed fabric structure.
It is also washable, no ironing, faster drying, and an environmentally
friendly material. |
