Takemura Tobee Shoten (Kyoto City) opened its Osaka branch, which began to trade raw cotton, cotton yarns and cotton fabric
1902
Iwajiro Suzuki founded "Suzuki & Company" in Kobe
1912
Bunsuke Iwai founded "Iwai & Company"
1918
Takemura Tobee Shoten changed its name to Takemura Shoten Co., Ltd.
1928
Suzuki & Company founded a new company in the name of "Nissho Company"
1936
Takemura Mengyo Co., Ltd. was founded
1943
Iwai & Company changed its name to "Iwai Sangyo Company Ltd."
1952
Teijin Shoji Co., Ltd. was founded and began to sell rayon, staple fibers and textiles made of them
1953
Upon taking over Tosabori Sangyo Co., Ltd., Teijin Shoji Co., Ltd. succeeded to its brokerage business in the Osaka Chemical Fiber Exchange / Upon taking over Sanyo Kosan Co., Ltd., Teijin Shoji Co., Ltd. succeeded to its lumber sawing, casemaking and construction material production businesses

Teijin Shoji Co., Ltd. succeeded to the operation of the textile trading section of Nozaki & Co., Ltd. and set out on its textile export business

Teijin Shoji Co., Ltd. and Takemura Mengyo Co., Ltd. merged to form Takemura Teisho Co., Ltd.
1964
Takemura Teisho Co., Ltd. changed its name to Teijin Shoji Co., Ltd.
1968
"Nissho Company" and "Iwai Sangyo Company Ltd." merged to make a new debut as "Nissho Iwai Corporation"
1975
"Nissho Iwai Textile Co., Ltd" was founded
1980
"Nissho Iwai Apparel Co., Ltd." was founded
1982
"Nissho Iwai Textile Materials Corp." was founded
1982
A new entity of Teijin Shoji Co., Ltd. was founded and started its operation after the former entity had changed its name to Teisho Kosan Co., Ltd. and transferred its goodwill to the new entity
1990
Teijin Shoji Co., Ltd. took over its four subsidiaries, i.e., Teisho Kikai Hanbai Co., Ltd., Okayama Teisho Co., Ltd., Kansai Teisho Tent Hanbai Co., Ltd. and Kanto Teisho Tent Hanbai Co., Ltd.
1993
Nissho Iwai Iryou Co., Ltd. changed its name to "Nissho Iwai Apparel Co., Ltd."
2000
"Nissho Iwai Textile Materials Corp." and the "Textile Department of Nissho Iwai Corporation" transferred their respective goodwill to "Nissho Iwai Apparel Co., Ltd."
2001
Nissho Iwai Apparel Co., Ltd. consolidated "Nissho Iwai Textile Co., Ltd."
2001
"Teijin Shoji Co., Ltd." and "Nissho Iwai Apparel Co., Ltd." merged to form "NI TEIJIN SHOJI CO., LTD."
